My name is Ibrahim Gambo Umar, MD/CEO of Ultrapay Microfinance Limited. I was born on 25 May 1965. I studied a Master of Science degree in Banking and Finance, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a Diploma in Banking.
I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, MCIB certified, a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Certified Economists, and a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Executives of Nigeria.
I have forty years of working experience in the banking sector, eleven of which are in the microfinance bank sub-sector.
I started my banking career in 1987 with Afribank Nigeria Plc, Bank of the North, and Mainstreet Bank, and now I work at Ultra Pay Microfinance Bank (formerly known as Wudil MFB).
I was the Chairman of the NAMB Kano State chapter and also the Chairman of the NAMB North West
Zone.
I am interested in reading, traveling, and surfing the internet.
I am married and have children
