Alhaji Abubakar Adamu Ahmad National President
Born on 23rd June 1965, he attended his primary school in Bauchi, attended Government Secondary school Darazo between 1978 to 1983 and Bauchi College of Arts and Science 1983 to 1985.
He obtained his first degree at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in 1988. Partake in the NYSC 1988 to 1989.
Started career with the Ministry of Commerce Bauchi state, joined Inland Bank and served between 1989 to1995,served as pioneer manager, Katagum Community Bank 1995 to 1997.
Alhaji Adamu was the employed as Head of Banking Operations by Yankari Savings and Loans Limited.
He grew in the system to the rank of AGM until the Primary mortgage Institution Downscaled it’s Operations to Microfinance subsector.
He holds a B.Sc in Business Administration, a masters in Finance and a post graduate Diploma in Education. A PhD Candidate.
Professionally, he is an Honorary Senior Member CIBN, Microfinance Certified Banker, Fellowships in the Chartered Institute of Loan Risk Management, and Chartered Institute of Management Consultants. He is a certified Management Consultant.
Alhaji Adamu was one time part time lecturer, Resouce person for ICPC and the 23rd Artillery Brigade Bauchi. He is currently the patron of CIBN Bauchi Chapter.
He has served NAMB with merit in various capacities as Chairman Bauchi State Chapter, North East Zonal Chairman and currently the 1st National Vice President.
