Dr Adenrele, is currently the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Richway Microfinance Bank Limited and a Director of Richway Financial Services with over 30years experience in the banking industry. He was a former CEO of FBN Mortgages Limited (a subsidiary of First Bank of Nigeria) and handled its transformation into becoming the top 3 primary mortgage banks in Nigeria.
He was a Deputy General Manager in First Bank and formerly the General Manager and Chief Representative Officer in charge of South Africa Representative Office of First Bank of Nigeria Limited with coverage for business development in the Southern African Development Countries (“SADC”). Prior to this appointment; he was the Business Development Manager (“BDM”) for First Bank of Nigeria with coverage for 32 branches of the Bank in Lagos axis.
He was a Past President of the South Africa – Nigeria Chamber of Commerce (SA-NCC) between October 2013 – September 2015 and he is on the Board of Nigerians in Diaspora Organization in South Africa (NIDO SA) from 2011 – date. He was also the Vice President of the SA-NCC between December 2010 up to October 2013 before his election as the President of the Chamber.
He is an Accounting graduate from the University of Ilorin and holds Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Calabar, both in Nigeria. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI). He is an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and Microfinance Certified Professionals (MCIB).
He has attended various leadership, management development, executive, banking and finance programs in Nigeria and abroad, such as Lagos Business School, INSEAD, Chicago Booth University, The Wharton School of the Pennsylvania University, DevPar Canada as well as University of Michigan Business School, USA.
